First day At Propel

hari ini aku baru nak berkencimpung dalam alam pekerjaan, terima kasih la kepada propel kerana bagi aku peluang buat praktikal training walaupun 8 minggu je.
hari first ni mmemng takut gak.... dengan en .hakim, orang yg incharge aku x da... dia ada meeting kot. tu yang buat aku x tau nak buat apa. nasib baik pekerja2 diog ok je. aku duk kat meja sapa pun aku x tau. tapi yg pastiu kat meja ni ada komputer, aku main tenet je la. lama gak la smapai boring dah ni x de keje.

aku duk sebelah dengan en. roslan, depan en . muslim dan en azman. depa 3 og ni boleh dikatakan otai kat sini la. aku dah kena dah dgn depa ni. mentang2 la aku orang baru, x pa diog saja ja tu. nak bagi ceria. kat depan aku ada orang kelantan gak. nama, zul kot. dia ni minat man utd. boleh la masuk sikit.

awal pagi aku kuar dari shah alam dalam pkul 730 pagi, lama ghak nak sampai kat sini. lebih 25 km rasanya. awal2 pagi ada briefing dengan cik khudzairi n the geng dari training department. diog ni baik2 gak. ok la klu sapa2 yg baru mula keja kat kaw tempat ni rasanya x da masalah nak menyesuikan diri. diog ni ramah2.....

harap2 dapat la aku join dengan en rahman, ketua bahagian projek. mana tau dapat ilmu dari dia. x banyak pun, klu boleh dapat skit pion x pa. asal ada pengalaman dalam alam pekerjaan.....

Photovoltaic Cells: Converting Photons to Electrons

T­he solar cells that you see on calculators and satellites are photovoltaic cells. Photovoltaic, as the word implies (photo, light, voltaic ), convert sunlight directly into electricity. Once used almost exclusively in space, photovoltaic are used more and more in less exotic ways.

Photovoltaic (PV) cells are made of special materials called semiconductors such as silicon, which is currently the most commonly used. Basically, when light strikes the cell, a certain portion of it is absorbed within the semiconductor material. This means that the energy of the absorbed light is transferred to the semiconductor. The energy knocks electrons loose, allowing them to flow freely. PV cells also all have one or more electric fields that act to force electrons freed by light absorption to flow in a certain direction. This flow of electrons is a current, and by placing metal contacts on the top and bottom of the PV cell, we can draw that current off to use externally. For example, the current can power a calculator. This current, together with the cell's voltage (which is a result of its built-in electric field or fields), defines the power (or wattage) that the solar cell can produce.

That's the basic process, but there's really much more to it. Let's take a deeper look into one example of a PV cell: the single-crystal silicon cell.
